Memset owns two state-of-the-art data centre facilities on either side of Reading, Berkshire. Both centres employ top-quality connectivity and are staffed around the clock. Having two data centers allows Memset to provide its customers with resilient protection in the event of a disaster.
Features
Memset’s two centres have a gigabit fibre between them. If one link fails, data is automatically routed.
Memset uses the high-quality Dell products to power its data centres. The company employs a variety of security measures including 24/7 CCTV monitoring and proximity access control.
Since Memset does not offer collocation, only a small number of authorised personnel have access to the data center.
Back-Up Systems
Memset’s dedicated servers employ RAID to provide further resilience against disk failures. Additionally, they keep hot-standby equipment onsite.
In addition to short-term Uninterruptible Power Systems, Memset uses multiple diesel generators at its two sites with a minimum of 96 hours of backup fuel, giving its customers total protection in the event of a power outage.
Guarantee
Memset provides its customers with several guarantees and service agreements. This includes a 100 percent network uptime guarantee, with the exception of when server maintenance is being performed. Memset also takes full responsibility for any hardware replacement.
