May 17, 2006 — (TopHosts Newswire) — Global email hosting provider, Outblaze Ltd., revealed its plans to implement a new Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) -based webmail service to Web Hosting Companies.
New and existing Outblaze clients can receive the AJAX Webmail service immediately. It features drag-and-drop capability, a preview pane, auto-complete, message preloading, easy folder manipulation, and highly intuitive navigation.
Outblaze’s AJAX Webmail rolled out for the first time in May 2006, at ISPCON in Baltimore, MD, builds web applications by mimicking features and interface found mostly in installed software. By providing high-quality user interaction from a server rather than an installed desktop client, AJAX technology delivers a traditional software experience without relying on installation, upgrades or cross-platform compatibility.
“The challenge for providers is how to cost-effectively deliver next-generation services that ensure continued user loyalty while driving revenue growth,” Stef Bensi, Managing Director of Outblaze US and Europe, said in a PR Newswire press release. “Hosting services with Outblaze is the answer to that problem. Outblaze AJAX Webmail is available for a fraction of the cost required to implement and maintain similar in-house or licensed solutions.”
